Introduction

Post by CB_06 »

Hello Rangers. My name is Chris and I am an 18 year old senior in high school. I graduate June 14th and leave for OSUT on the 24th of August. I'm really excited to have signed my option 40 at MEPs and can't wait to begin my training. My Mom and Dad are both prior Air Force, my Dad was in for 30 years and my Mom for 8. My brother is active duty in the Air Force as a loadmaster on C-130s. I have always planned to follow in my family's footsteps of serving in the military, and although they tried to talk me into the Air Force, I decided that Rangers was the direction I wanted to go. My 2 mile time is 13:45 which I am training to reduce to AT LEAST 13:00, 70-80 pushups, and 70-80 sit ups in 2 minutes. I'm currently training to better all of these, and keeping motivated for basic and beyond. I'm just trying to take in as much information as I can to get me as prepared as possible. Thank you for this site, Rangers; it has helped me out a lot with all of the questions I've had. I'm here to learn.

Sorry about my spelling mistake, Rangers. It was careless on my part, and it won't happen again.
