Ranger Jim I was just talking about my experience with ROTC and deciding wether to stay or not. I went through a very similar decision making process which is why I referred Buckmark to his cadre.

Chris, you are going to fit in just fine. Now, sit down and tell us why you want to go to one of the Ranger battalions (Go ahead and tell me whatever reason you might have, I was never in the 75th RR). At least 25 more words, but fewer than 250.

Welcome, Chris, you can learn a lot on this site. If nothing else you will have an opportunity to learn humility.

I am a hard charger, plain and simple. I possess many faults, yet my motivation and desire are not among those. When I decided to join the Army, I promised myself that I would be the very best soldier I possibly could and that I would give myself fully to that commitment. I am the type of person that hates being anything but the best. While I respect every soldier, Rangers are held to a higher standard. The Ranger Creed says that â€œmy country expects me to move farther, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.â€
