Second-Combat- Yes I have. I was not a gangbanger, per se, but I did run with a couple of guys. My experience of combat, for sure, does not come close to any of yours, but in the dark of night when you are running after someone with a gun, shooting and being shot at, it all comes down to one thing... kill or be killed. I would rather be doing that for the right reasons instead of what I used to be doing. And. yes, The Bronx is a hectic place. But I would not be who I am if I came from anywhere else.

As for Combat, what ever inner city bullshit you were involved with will never give you even close to the taste of combat, stop referring to it as so.
I'm no city boy, I'm a country boy. A feud between two families is more or less the same as gang warfare with the exception that most country boy's can shoot. I was getting shot at before I entered active duty, big deal. It doesn't even come close.
Until you've stood in the door and jumped into a firefight, lived through an ambush, or cleared a city street under fire, shut the fuck up about what you know about combat!
