Ranger Horned Toad - Didn't watch on DVD or VCR; Pay Per View no rewind. I didn't come on here for attention just came back to ask a question. I am not a helpless idiotic female, I only wanted to know which Ranger Battalion was involved, as I did miss this in the movie. Never mind, I thought this would be the proper place to ask the question. I'll buy the damn book "Ghost Soldiers as one of the other Rangers suggested.

6th Ranger Bn.
'Ghost Soldiers' is a fine read, whether or not you're into military history.
All the elements of a great novel, only it's for real.

Choice number one from a Google search of "The Great Raid"

"Set in the Philippines in 1945, THE GREAT RAID tells the true story of the 6th Ranger Battalion, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci (Benjamin Bratt) who undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds. Traveling thirty miles behind enemy lines, the 6th Ranger Battalion aims to liberate over 500 American prisoners-of-war from the notorious Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp in the most audacious rescue ever."
