MEPS is definitely an experience once you've been involved on this site.
There are always "experts" on every hooah job the Army (or Corps for that matter) has to offer.
Most of them are just high school kids or pogue fucking recruiters.
You just focus on your contract, be nice while the dumbasses are talking, obey my guidance about your conduct at MEPS, get your shit and go home.

So I got released from the GANG on 3 Feb, my DOB (providence? I think so).
I went to MEPS on Friday and today, I was a no-go both times (insufficient med docs). A waiver for my "allergy" goes before the review board and I'll get in on Friday. I had way to much fun talking to the expert high schoolers, and the junk they talked about Rangers.
Marine Recruit: "Yea, they're the best infantry unit in the world, but aside from that they're nuthin special."

It's all good.

This thread makes me wonder if that guy sitting next to me ever got his Delta Force contract.
