I read the little Army book they gave me at MEPS and it has a list of things to bring (toiletries and such). However, I've heard from a few people that you pretty much just have to get rid of it and buy new stuff once you get to reception. Which is the truth? I don't want to buy a nice pair of running shoes only to have them confiscated and have to buy a new pair.
PS: Am I the only one who actually cares about this?
