I went down and pinned his scrolls on both shoulders and his High School buddy (a SSG in 3/75th) pinned his tab on. Another of his High School buddies (4th RTB) was one of the team leaders in the boat assault Rangers in Action demo. We got a picture of all three together. Yet another of their high school buddies is up with my son at 2/75th and wasn't at graduation. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see anyone from the site down there. I knew a few of your names and kinda looked around. It was crowded though and I apoligize for not finding you. Although we didn't get to spend a lot of time with our son it was still very rewarding the little time we did spend. One of my son's squad members in A/75th was the Darby Awardee and I got to meet several of his 2/75th buddies. They are some great young Rangers and we will sleep a little better during deployments knowing he is in the company of such men.
I was there dang it!
