This is the real thing Eleven X-Ray, no bullshit.
If you fuck around you will get soft and loose focus.
This will happen in RIP and Ranger School also.Eleven X-Ray wrote:On a side note, we dropped over 100 people the first day of airborne because of PT.

Good news and bad news, we graduaed on the day we were supposed to, but winds were high and we apparently shouldn't have been jumping; a few sticks had to jump on red lights in order to get their fifth jump.
Broken legs and the like kept the ambulances busy all day, a total of 20 in the hospital. And the worst part of the day, an E7 hit his head on landing and then was dragged for quite a while, he ended up dying in the hospital around four this morning. R.I.P Sgt.

Horrible news. Apparently you came through it all in one piece. Keep up the good work. Sorry to hear about the E7. Rest in Peace, Airborne. ~S~Eleven X-Ray wrote:Good news and bad news, we graduaed on the day we were supposed to, but winds were high and we apparently shouldn't have been jumping; a few sticks had to jump on red lights in order to get their fifth jump.

Bullshit. There's just no way they sent a "few sticks" out on a red-light.a few sticks had to jump on red lights in order to get their fifth jump.

Ranger Kilted Heathen, I may have exagerrated, I don't know the exact number of sticks, but a buddy of mine was first one out the door on a red light, he's got no reason to lie about it and the Sgt. Airborne on the ground had already said nobody else was jumping that day before the last few sticks jumped.Kilted Heathen wrote:Bullshit.
