Just thought I should finally make an introduction, since I've been reading the posts for a few months now. My son has been with 1/75 RGR for over a year. He deployed from Jan-April and was supposed to attend Ranger School in May. Instead he got clobbered at a bar (in Savannah) and spent the next 6 weeks going through reconstructive surgery and then had to let everything heal. Two weeks after con leave, he took the PT test and was sent to Ranger School in July. He failed Land Nav twice and was re-inserted both times. He made it through Mountains and is now in FL and hopefully will graduate on the 23rd of November. I'm really proud of him. His attitude has been amazing!

Just want to thank all of you for your service to our Country. My father (deceased) was a USMC fighter pilot (28 years in service) and my husband just retired after 27 years in the Army. I know you guys make huge sacrifices on a daily basis. I am grateful my son will be serving with the BEST!

Ranger Chiron - You're so right! My son would never quit. As long as he has a pulse, he's going to do whatever it takes to get that tab! I'm thinking he has to hold some kind of record for most consecutive months at Ranger School. Wonder who holds that title and for how long?
