Good day Rangers & all others...

Found this site via AirborneRanger.com, so I headed on over...

FNG here, from FL, looking to enter service at a late point in life (gonna be 39 in 2006); let's hear it for Congress raising the age req. to 39/40 for Reserves/ARNG...

Would like to go for Airborne & Rangers down the line, but I guess that would be a longshot if coming into service via ARNG...

So now I am thinking maybe go Reserves for an initial enlistment term, and then switch to Active Army. Still looking around for info on this path for an older guy to work into the Active Army. (no prior service & over 35)

Supposing I get past criminal, dependant & bad credit waivers! (punk kid early in life, divorced w/2 kids & the divorce F'ed up my credit pretty good)

So, intro done (sorry to waste Rangers time), falling into a formation of one, forward leaning rest position, feet elevated...!
