OK! Good Job, you passed the p.t. test and that's great.
Now prepare yourself mentally for the runs as I think they will be you next greatest obstacle.
Be prepared for the mind fuck and remember.............( I'm not sure I'll finish this thought, just because I want it to be a surprise ) just remember not to quit and try to see the humor in it!

Week 1 down, 3 more to go. Not much to say other than everything I read here has helped. No way I'm quitting. 81 took the PT test, 54 started in my class, 39 remain after week 1. Believe it or not, two guys got kicked out on Tuesday for having crack and a crack pipe in their posession. Thank God I won't have a shitbag like that watching my 6.

I'd say about 25 or less.

from what they say it was not theirs. One of them let his cousin or something borrow his car and it got left. they both took drug test and saliva tst and both came up negative. i think they even finger printed the pipe and their prints didnt come up on it either. they had court yesterday. im still in hold waiting

Every single incarcerated dope fiend I ever met had the exact same story. Bullshit.

Just finished week 2. Holy shit, what a fucking week. I had to redo the 12 mile road march the day before we left for Cole Range. Then Cole Range was 48 hours of suck, nothing but cold, wet, suck. We're down to 29 left in the class. 8 voluntary withdraws all withing about 24 hours of each other at Cole Range. Yesterday someone in the barracks yelled "Hit the woodline" and I curled up in the fetal position.
However, looking at it now I can see that it was necessary for our class to succeed. It really did weed out the weak. Last night we were on the basketball court at 01:30 getting smoked but we were all movtivated and sounding off loud and hustling to meet the time hacks. That wasn't happening before Cole Range.
The main thing that kept me motivated throughout this week was the hundreds of times that I had been told DO NOT QUIT by all the Rangers who have already been through this. Two little words would have been all it took for me to quit freezing my ass off as I ran to the woodline for the 50th time, but I knew betting than to give in to quitting. Thanks for all the help as I continue to drive on.

I'm in week 4 now and its a short week because of the holiday on Friday. We did some basic shooting today, will do more advanced stuff tomorrow and Wednesday and then graduate on Thursday. Last week was the hardest week of PT for us. We ran 6 times in 5 days, twice in boots. Just goes to show that completion of Cole Range doesn't mean that RIP is over. We all got our batallion assignments last week and I'll post mine once I graduate, lest I give the impression that I'm already done. Thanks for all the advice and support, I probably wouldn't be shaving a Tan Beret right now without your help.
