OSUT SITREP

Post by mark5105 »

I'm in week 8 of OSUT right now, believe me, the training is pretty damn easy if you put your head on right. The training is a lot of fun but plenty of people will be there bitching and moaning, just ignore them and drive on. The PT is pretty weak, you have to PT at night in your bay or your improvements wont be that great just relying on the morning PT. I scored a 316 on my second PT test and have another one thursday I plan on doing better on. I've been a sqaud leader for the past 5 weeks which is cool in some ways, but dealing with 14 guys all day can drain the energy out of you more than anything. But we've won honor platoon every week so far. We start MOUT training monday which im really looking forward to. Just stay motivated and dont hang out with the whining bitches, OSUT is full of them. I'll post again as soon as I can. Thanks again to the Rangers and Vets who keep this site going, its helped me out a lot already.

Keep up the good work. Continue to stay focused and motivated. Use the others misery as fuel to continue to drive on with.
