Newbie Checking In

Hello all, my name is Alex and I am a 17 year old high school junior. I am from the Philadelphia area and have been interested in becoming a Ranger for several years... what initially piqued my interest was stories from WWII that my grandfather told. Since then, the intrigue has been pushing myself to my limits, and being among the best of the best. Feel free to drop me a line.

Have you taken the ASVAB yet? If not, why and when will you take it? If yes, tell us how you did.

I took the ASVAB for a practice run during my sophomore year. I scored an 87, with a military career score of 5 (whatever that means). I have not yet taken it again "for real", since I have at least a year and a half to go before my enlistment.
