Kwith,
You are using the avatar of a DEP. Switch to a different one, either from NEWT or NEWT's 2 only.

In light of this post: http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic. ... 1&start=30 I would like to start over. I would never give up on the Army or on my dream. I've never set a goal for myself that I haven't achieved and I'll be damned if I don't end up with my Tab. I only meant I would stop visiting this site. I suppose I can stick around a while longer. I can't erase the past and I'm not going to try. Not going to join with a different name or anything else. I'm manning up to my dumbass mistakes here and starting over on a clean slate. The best way is to go back to the very beginning and start with a new introduction:
Rangers, Veterans, Ranger Wives/Parents, Servicemen, DEPs, and fellow NEWTs:
My name is Keith and I am a freshman in college, and an ROTC cadet. I turned 18 last month and live in Philadelphia. I'm here for the same reason every other young man comes here; I want to be a Ranger. It's unfortunate that officers are unable to obtain an Option 40 contract. I would like to serve with the 75th, but if I take the path of the officer the best thing I can do is attend Ranger school, and get my Tab. I'll just have to live with that. This time around I am going to take this site seriously and conduct myself on this site just like I do in real life. This means I will not speak unless spoken to; you have my word. I'm here to learn everything I can about becomming a great officer, and the various schools that I will attend throughout my military career (including Ranger school). I gave everyone on this site the wrong impression of myself. First impressions are everlasting too, but from here on out it's going to be different.

Aye, fight and you may die, run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take away our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!
The ROTC route WILL NOT guarentee you will get to Ranger school. You have very little control over what branch you will get, and what duty station. You could very well wind up a Quarter Master LT in Korea with no Ranger school at all.
If your goal is to be an officer, do exactly what you are doing, but if your dream is to be a Ranger, enlist Option 40.

It will really suck for you if you then, won't it dickhead?
That's a fucking tab-wearer attitude you upstart bit of shit.
As an officer you are expected value the fucking thing just a tad bit more than that.
Higher academia is fucking wasted on you since every time you post you bring distinct credit on dumbasses the world over.
If stupid were a religion you'd be the fucking Pope.
And if brains were dynamite you couldn't fucking blow your nose!
Shut the fuck up until you come into puberty.
