He did go, and he did go AWOL. But he didn't go AWOL until long after we got back, after Ranger school. And when he got back, I don't remember how long it was ,but he was then dx'ed to Korea.

This guy kinda reminds me of Cantrell's Raiders during the Civil War. He rides in and hits you and rides off to return and hit you again elsewhere.

There is a big difference here, Quantrill's Raiders were effective and learned from their mistakes.
