You know, after years, years and years of police work I am going to add just a smidgin in here....

If you were going to do something to defend yourself, you would have-period, end of story. In the end, if you actually really did take your shirt off and square off on someone who was about to kick your ass, mind you in your draft, Dude had already pushed you well beyond any normal responsive comfort level and you'd already begun your 'I am not fighting you stanza, my future's more important.' (All well and good and I would support this mentallity.)

My bitch with you is that if indeed you did square off, taking off your shirt, you didn't do so until the police officer was right there preventing you from getting YOUR ass kicked or it didn't happen at all. Seen lots and lots of these dumbass, they rarely if ever vary, from city to city and State to State. You were doing what way too many punk ass kid's do today. You were afraid and buying time so you could figure a way the fuck out of Dodge and if you'd a come in and simply said that in the first place rather than pathetically attempting to look like billy bad ass to those who'll see through it in a New York second (Stead tell's me those are pretty damn fast), I'd have not wasted 5 minutes busting you out and you'd not look like a punk, girly bitch right about now.

Grow up. Nobody gives a wild weezy piss ass about your street fighting bad ass bullshit here. Here, we'd much rather hear you come in and discuss how much you've progressed on your pt program or if you are having a situational problem make it one that's not bullshit wasting everyone's time.

I disagree with usaftacp, here's the thing. There will always be people who are going to be jealous of you especially if in fact you make it to Bn.

There are going to be times when people wanna see if you (as a representative of a Ranger) are as good as people "say we are". More often than not that person who's confronting you is afraid, but talkin BIG SHIT in order to get you "Afraid". In each situation you must always remain firm but non-confrontational. Especially in public settings because if you kick his ass, you lose, if he kicks your ass..........you lose, and if you go to jail because of it...........you lose.

So its pretty simple what to do, you don't go spoutin off at the mouth about how you're not gonna fight him because of this reason or that, you simply tell him "mannn FUCK YOU" and slowly remove yourself from the situation. Remember he waited until most of your friends left and he had all of his friends, therefore he has shown you that he does not have confidence in his ability to beat you, but is trying to beat you psychologically first by having the odds seem overwhelingly in his favor and thus creating a spirit of fear within your "MIND".

Beadle, I don't know if you were seeing what I was saying. I was in no way saying that he should've fought. I was saying that he took his shirt off only when he saw the police officer as he was too puss to fight in the first place and that he was lying about the incident in some freakish effort to seek self-redemption for being a cowardly ass. Never have I condoned street fighting, I have however watched 10,000 punks play these scenarios out just exactly like this, only to go back later and attempt to talk shit to their friends... He had the chance to walk away and didn't, pure and simple. If indeed he took off his shirt and squared off, which I don't think he did, he did so only after it became clear that the police weren't going to let anything happen. Of course, he could be that massive exception to the rule. Way, way exception to the rule. But I am still calling bullshit on him and have even gone so far as to go out and get him some maxi-pads and vagisil in case he gets into another altercation and gets his wee pussy hurt.

One of the things I do is deal with Drunks and Idiots.

A man (or so called man) is only taking his shirt off to draw attention to himself or look like a so called Bad Ass .A man that is truly going to get down to business isn't going to waste his time doing so.

BDD, in your situation I think it was a pretty good idea not to put yourself in a position to get in trouble before you enter the service. There is no telling if it would have impacted your availibility.

I wasn't there so I cant say exactly what I would have done, but I have kicked the shit out of people for less.

I used to be able to do it when I was still working the road. Now that I am sick, I fucking just hate idiocy. So, this gives me that ability to unload without having to worry about going overboard.
