I'm prior service, actually in the process of re-enlisting. I was a SPEC4, I only did a two year enlistment (regretfully). My MOS was 11b (and it will be again soon) I was also airborne, air assault qualified. I'm just here to wear out the search button, maybe ask an intelligent question or two, and then read and learn from your experiences. I am actually going back in because I miss the life, and there's not anything in the civillian world that compares.

Yes, I'm hoping to get tabbed.. and I'd love to be part of 75th. It's something I always wanted.. and longed for.

there's a typo above, I did a 4 year enlistment. Yes, I was only SPEC4. It's called an article 15. :)

Welcome to the site. Couple qustions. Who were you with? Also, how did you get Airborne and Air Assault in a two year enlistment?

id you get Airborne right out of Basic or did you put in for it? Did you go to Campbell for Air Assault? When were you in?

Welcome cowboy! Yes, there are few cowboys and cowgirls in this neck of the woods. I'm sure you will get a chance to meet them. A few ground rules since you are new. Don't say or do anthing stupid. Got it? :-)

No, Airborne was right after A.I.T. not Basic. Yes, Air Assault was in Ft. Campbell Kentucky.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm a cowboy, and a Dallas Cowboys fan ::ducking:: Thanks for the heads up. I'm only worried about my lane though.

No, I'm one of the rare cases. I was the only combat MOS besides a 13c in my basic training... at relaxin' jackson

You were an 11B and went to basic at Jackson, then went to AIT at Benning? Then went to ABN school, then went to 3rd ID in Savannah then gotr orders to Air Assault in Campbell then went back to 3rd ID? Was 3rd ID your only unit?
