half the reason I bought that guy was that he was being starved, its hard to see in the pics and I had been feeding him up, but for that size horse he was skinny, now he has really filled out, need to weigh him, in shape he should hit 2000 pounds :DAbell9 wrote:Horned Toad wrote:I'll get an new photo tomorrow, the horse has really filled out and doesnt look like a scarecrow anymore.Dude...thats like saying Moni needs to put on some weight!

Impressed as hell with that statement HT! That is tough to do and shows a lot of character right there. I applaud you.Horned Toad wrote: half the reason I bought that guy was that he was being starved
On a much smaller scale years ago, I took in a St. Bernard that was starved down to 45lbs. after giving birth. Took me 5 years to get her up to 155lbs. and I got crap from everyone in town that thought I had done the starvin!

I'd post photo's but I'm a computer idiot and don't have the equipment right now.
this is what 5 months of feeding does, when I got this guy he was 17/1 and 12 to 1300 pounds, havent weighed him in a while but he has stacked on some pounds
