The members of your unit are temporary the unit itself is an ageless entity.
The challenge to you at this time is to seek out the movers and shakers in your unit and emulate them.
Make friends with your training NCO and tell him you want to initiate an Airborne/Ranger physical.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparedness...shut your bitching yap and start immediately seeking self improvement.
If you get your physical squared away you'll become noticed as pro-active and you will find yourself on an OML for PRC.
Do this now, change your user name and don't bitch about your goddamn unit any more.
It's the first step to being a professional.
