Sorry Ranger IntelToad  ...I'm about 2 feet two tall and my ass is probably a cm or two bigger than hers. Oh yeah, and my skin is no where near as pale. Look to pic in the humour forum.

Welcome Krazee. Enjoy the site, and nevermind the other Rangers. All of their brains locked up during puberty.

I spent a little time in Australia a number of years back working with an Airborne unit up at Halsworthy Barracks. Great soldiers that definitely know how to have a good time.

Spent a couple of weekends cruising around Kings Crossing (I think).

Really enjoyed meself.
:D

You must mean King's Cross in Sydney.

That's the one! I knew it had to be a good place, because I was sitting in a bar, minding my own business, when suddenly, the lights come on, and the cops conduct a raid looking for weapons and drugs! Got patted down and questioned. Eventually, the coppers cuffed a couple of people and left - the lights dimmed and the music started again, like nothing happened. It was great! :D

King's Cross is indeed a place of interesting events... 8).

You speak of Holsworthy Army Barracks, and the airborne unit is 3RAR. Did you enjoy it Ranger chkray? I used to work at 3RAR as a civi but that was last year...they're a hilarious bunch

Yep, those boys drank us under the table every night. On the last night, we had a big party at the enlisted club. After some eats, drinks and presentations, we in the chain of command went to the Officers Mess for some Port and to party some more. As soon as we left the EM Club, all of the EM's started a big Frikkin fight - just for the hell of it. Nobody was mad or anything - I was just told that it was "tradition." The next morning in formation, all of my boys were bloody and bruised - but so were the Aussies, so I didn't feel too bad.
