Just a little introduction here...
Name's Cory, joined the Army as an 11B in August of '97, got sent to hell on earth aka Fort Drum for four years and ETS'd in 20AUG01. Crap hit the fan shortly thereafter and for some reason I never got called up *more on that*
Been going to school and goofing off as a civvie for a while now and recently went ULTRA pogue and joined the Air Force Natl. Guard. Heh, anyway just pokin' around online and found the site. Thought I'd swing in and say hi.
I was assigned to these units...
Alpha Company 1/50th Wolfpack
Bravo Company 2/87th INF (2nd platoon)
HHC Company 2/14th INF (Scout platoon)

What really chaps my ass is that when I went to join the AFNG, I couldn't for over two months because my paperwork was lost in limbo.... More specifically. They were unable to switch me over to NG status from the inactive ready reserve to NG status. As far as the IRR was concerned, they had never heard of me and I was still active duty. It all EVENTUALLY got straightened out, but I was informed that was the reason I never got called back. Ah well. Sucks but there's a reason for everything I suppose.
