Thank you SFC Hit_it, I did not know it was more a GED type deal than a diploma.

If I do go ahead with the CHSPE, I would be going to a community college in place of 11th and 12th grade, which would satisfy the 15 college credit requirement. I'll further consult my education councilor to learn ...

California High School Proficiency Exam

The CHSPE is an exam that under state (CA) law is the legal equivelant of a high school diploma. The earliest it can be taken is 10th grade. In California, at least, all institutions that require a HS diploma must by law accept the CHSPE's "certificate of proficiency", I believe it's called, in ...

Ranger Odin's Underling, it's embarassing to admit but I don't actually speak German. From my pathetic translatory resources..."Wilkommen. Sie kann ich glauben, wie werden bei 1 Juni" Means "Welcome. It I can believe as to become June 1" which can't be right, lol.

Mental Health and the 75th Ranger Regiment

Will prior depression and proceeding medication during sophomore and partial junior year of High School be a problem with enlisting in the Army with an Opt 40 contract? Even if I'm off the medication at the time of enlistment? How will recruiters and possible commanders, team/squad leaders, etc ...

Ranger Earthpig - "Feuerfaust" means "Fire Fist" in German. For those of you who may wonder, it's not Nazi affiliated.

I'm reading up on those FAQs as we speak.

My Introduction

I'll get right to it. My name is Ben, I'm 16 yrs old, from Los Angeles, California, and I want to enlist in the US Army with an Opt 40 Contract when I graduate from High School in 2006. I'm recovering from shin splints, so I'm getting a little fat and happy, however I am moving in 2 months to a ...

I have a similar query to that of the original poster's. I'll post it here considering the topic is similar to the topic of this thread.

If an applicant took medication for depression during High Schooll, but is off the medication at the point of enlistment , will the prior depression for which ...
