Maps can be kind of useless there I found. At least what is downloadable. You are better off just using your issued maps and a smaller GPS. I carried two. My Garmin Etrex was my backup while my Foretrex was was my main liner. Even though my Etrex was my back-up I laways had it on me and even left it...

H8 that's exactly what I was thinking.

I'm still for the retire naked idea: Start off in the Army with every award, badge, tab, and rudy-kazoo coin out there and try to 'earn' them all away. Basically you would see some private with nothing on in class As and say now there goes a bad mother fucker!

The MAMBA sling is gonna run you about 25 bucks but I just put one together for about 8 bucks that a better design. Buy the junk you need and make your own. It will work better.
