I shudder to think that today's army may be using velcro straps. I would be scared shitless to hear the noise of velcro being opened when I am trying to be as quiet as possible. :shock:

I asked him what the average time frame is from the point somebody signs thier contract to when they ship. He had no clue, he said he hasn't contracted anybody in a combat MOS in 8 months ...
