Realize I wasn't in 75th, but nonetheless..
e-4 - Gold Wings, Ranger Tab (worn underneath the pocket flap), French Amphibious Commando badge (can't wear), Spanish jump wings (I don't know if I could wear those, never checked)... It's easier for Marines, less shit to shine!!

None taken. You rate. As my team leader once said, tabbed also, anyone who has gone through the training I have, and has earned the same title, rates to make suggestions and ask questions. Always thought that was a damn good attitude for a TL.

I know I'm a little late to respond, but maybe a response will stop someone else from asking the same question. I haven't been here in a few days. Recon Marines learn some great skill sets at Ranger School. These are things that are above and beyond what is taught at ARS (Amphib Recon School). One ...

I have to agree with Leatherneck. If you want to train with some of the best, go straight 0311 (don't know if Recon option is still available at signup), and try out for Recon. Schools don't make you who you are. Some of the best Recon Boys I ever worked with didn't have any "eye candy", and others ...

I must agree. Something about "Zero" was quite amusing, more so to see everyone else's shocked faces that there are actually people out there that thought jump school needed some livening up.

It was a bit of boredom. It was fun the first time I yelled out "Airborne Recon Ranger" when I was pushing. The Blackhat freaked out. "What the hell are you yelling Ranger for?" I politely lifted the pocket flap of my cammies and showed him my spanking new tab. He was left me alone after that.

I was already in Recon when I went to Jump School. In fact I went to Ranger School as a leg. I think they need an accelerated program for people that aren't right out of basic. I had a few SEALs and a few PJ's in my class. We we're all a bit annoyed, but made the best of it none the less.

Tabbed Recon Marine

Just found your site. Doesn't look like you have a lot of Tabbed Jarheads, so I figured I'd sign on. I'm a former Recon Marine from 2d Recon Bn, 94-98, Goldwinger, Ranger School Class 7-96.
