It's been a long time since I last posted here, but I am now a member of 2PPCLI. I finished my Battle School late January, and I am extremely proud to be part of the second battalion.

I've completed my Soldier Qualification Course, 7 weeks long. I am waiting for my Basic Infantry Qualification Course, 10 weeks. After that I will have the honor of wearing the PPCLI cap badge.

I have almost completed 4 weeks of basic training, and I am taking a quick break while getting ice for my knee. I have learned a few essential lessons so far while I've been here:

1. Learn to shut the fuck up. Don't ask stupid questions, everything you need to know will be explained to you.

I managed to do 200 in one hour last week. I've been working on the stickied pushup program, and I can keep up with the week 6/7 pushups.

The program has almost doubled the number of pushups I can do (in a month). That's not saying much, but I'm getting there.

I should update the status of my application: I recieved the job offer for Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, I asked for 3rd batt. but I won't find out if I got it until further into my training. My enrollment/swearing in is Mar. 2, and then I will officially be in the Army.
