I seem to remember some weird ass new drills and exercises that were supposed to take the place of stretching during group PT. This was many years ago, but when I looked through the latest FM 21-20, I don't see them. Did they not get approved, or is Big Army still making up their mind?

Vicenza, Mount Berico
We were doing runs to the top of Mount Berico in Vicenza Italy quite a few times ea week that was 6.2 miles, with a really steep grade at the 1/2 way point. It was something like 25% I think. Not long after I got there we started doing the "backside" of Berico. It is probably 11 miles, bypassing the ...

RedDevil1504-Remember Spellman during MFO?
Yeah.
A one ton rock and the wrong place at the wrong time. Who would have guessed? That one had fate written all over it. Wasn't anything anyone could do. I was running one of the EIB lanes (Call for fire) and saw it when it happened. Man, what a bitch ...

That looks like some fucking awesome body armor you have! Do you guys manufacture replacement plates for the current system? If I understand your site correctly, that material can take repeated hits better than the current Kevlar plate, and weighs less. How does it ...

Question about Kettlebells
Ranger welfred,
I am biased for the dragondoor Kettelbells, having quite a bit of experience with them and having made some money as a KB instructor.
They are extremely effective. I am in better shape then when I was in 95. I use them with great success in a remedial PT program at Gordon back in ...

Operation Just Cause
I wonder if any of the 75% of your company with "mustard stains" ever let you know about us having to cut them out of the trees, or having to show them on a map exactly where they were supposed to be.
I wonder if one of them was the 203 gunner I slapped because his vest was still in his rucksack ...

Ranger centermass
I believe he was the guy the rock that hadn't moved in 2,000 years, moved over, giving us a range with his name on it. I can't remember the guy who survived though.
