Re: Introduction- sauerkraut11b
Volunteering for RASP in basic was as simple as signing a piece of paper, in my basic training class. The Ranger liaison came to one of our live fires and asked for any volunteers and everyone that volunteered got a RASP slot (as long as they met the waiverable GT score standard and could pass a PT ...

Well, tomorrow’s the day. Class 03-19 graduates 73 men and I am proud to say that I am one of them. I will be continuing my Ranger journey at 3/75 and I cannot wait. Thank you to everyone on the site that has helped me get to where I am today. I am so thankful to be a part of this Brotherhood.

Re: SITREP - Nico14
Today I have more time to reflect and recall on what I have experienced thus far and now it is time for a complete write-up. Pre-RASP: I cannot say very much about Pre-RASP only because I was only there for about a week and a half, but from what I experienced, it is crucial to study the material you...

Re: SITREP - Nico14
Well Rangers, we are on a Fort Benning pass for the weekend, but I am proud to say that 3 other forums members and I have secured Cole Range. It was cold and wet and a big suck fest but we stuck it out. I will post a more thorough update tomorrow because the library is about to close down. One step ...

Re: SITREP - Nico14
Wow, been way too long since my last post. I am fully through Infantry OSUT and have long since been stuck in the purgatory that is Pre-RASP. I was fortunate enough to class up into the next RASP class that starts on Monday. I am beyond excited and nervous and anxious for this time to come. Some of ...

Re: SITREP - Nico14
Roger, Ranger CharlieRanger1FFV. Quick SITREP, still at the airport, I was given “leader” position of 6 Army guys (4 going to Benning). Our flight got delayed long enough that the connecting flight got cancelled, so I talked to the woman in charge and got 6 tickets for my guys and I on a plane with ...

SITREP - Nico14
Well, it is finally time. I am sitting in the hotel unable to sleep, thinking about the journey I am about to undertake. I am excited and nervous and blessed beyond a shadow a doubt that I am able to pursue my dream. I would like to thank the Rangers on this site for their help in showing us DEPs ho...

Re: Introduction - Nico14
I recently graduated from high school and have 13 days before I head to Mother Benning. The last fews days of high school were very stressful because apparently you have to turn in assignments to pass a class...who would've thought. Anyways, my next target is OSUT and I am beyond ecstatic for it.

It's been a while since the last post on here, but I am finally in the double digits on days till I leave. 99 days, 98 if you include the trip to MEPS. The date is getting closer and closer and it is such a surreal feeling.
