Re: Intro: JDenges
General Update: 20180306 There’s only a couple months left until graduation but the workload is still pretty heavy. Some of my grades started to slip and taught me that an Option 40 means nothing if I screw up in the final stretch. That being said- I’m sorry for the inactivity, Rangers. I’m doubling...

Re: Intro: JDenges
Ranger Disinfertention Thank you for the input. I need to focus on increasing my overall mileage and build up the endurance for 5+ runs. Cardio has definitely been my weakness and something I’ve dreaded, despite having a runner’s build. I’ve been trying to throw in some HIIT excercises as well but m...

Re: Intro: JDenges
Roger Ranger centermass, I’m happy to say I healed up with no problems, and then of course came down with one of the most ass-kicking colds I’ve ever experienced. Still fighting off a cough and I haven’t had access to a track in the past week, but I was able to have someone test me on my other APFT ...

PT Update 20171228 PU: 80 SU: 74 2 Mile: 15:21 CU: 19 Screwed up my ankle pretty badly playing rugby and haven’t been able to work on cardio the past couple weeks, I would attribute that to my poor run time. Working on getting it back into shape and heading on my first 40 lb ruck tomorrow morning. H...

I’m still far from satisfied with my running but am starting to notice improvements in my endurance when performing the 5 Mile. By the end of December I’m planning to average about 15 miles a week with an additional ruck once I get my pack.

Re: Intro: JDenges
Ranger Jim, I’ve posted my completed task list up on the mentee thread, and will update as I progress. I plan to grade my APFT tonight when I get off work. I knocked out 25+1 for the delays. I’ve learned a lot about my habit to tell myself that my “plate is already full” and my tendency to procrasti...

Roger, Ranger Disinfertention, and thank you for the welcoming.
My last APFT was self-administered 20171117, I will have a buddy grade me on my next test this week.

Re: Intro: JDenges
Ranger Jim, This is my first time coming back to this thread and I’m clearly not well enough acquainted with the mechanics of the forum. I apologize for my lack of response. I actually just addressed the delay in my task list on the 5 Mentees thread a few minutes prior to seeing this. I will get str...
