Re: Sitrep - Geoff
Sad news from the home front today Rangers. I received news that my little brother has died. I know I am not one of you, but if you could please keep my family in your thoughts and Prayers I would be forever blessed and grateful as I am really struggling to come to terms with this. Thank you all and...

Sitrep - Geoff
We are currently preparing for Tower Week. I'm glad I'm still here as I have a near crippling fear of heights and am glad I've been able to overcome so far. My 2 mile is down close to 12 minutes and I'm focusing on getting it below 12 for Pre-RASP. As of right now it looks like we'll be in Pre-RASP ...

Re: SITREP for Dntwishforitwrkforit
Rangers and my fellow DEPs, I am proud to announce that all went well at MEPS and I am sworn in and good to go on everything with my 11x Opt. 40. Quick MEPS process today...I was sworn in and done by 1100 CDT. I will update more right now later, right now I'm just sitting back and taking a sigh of r...

Re: SITREP for Dntwishforitwrkforit
Thank you Ranger mjk175, I appreciate it! Rangers, here is my latest update: I was going to go after Memorial Day and just take an 11x and go from there...luckily that small voice in the back of my head told me hell no. I asked my recruiter to call the ROC, but he stated what was on the computer was...

Re: injury in training
Fellow Michigander here, sister went to CMU, I went to Albion. Nice to see you on here. I leave the answer to your questions to the Rangers of the board, though you are welcome to PM me with more specific symptoms and whatnot since I work directly for a neuro and ortho surgeon so I could get their a...

Re: Airborne Physical Wednesday
Not sure if you meant it or not, but I'm reasonably sure that you have to go 11x, you don't get to choose 11B or 11C.

Re: SITREP for Dntwishforitwrkforit
Off to MEPS 20110608...hoping for the elusive Option 40, if I can't get at least Option 4 to get to Airborne I'll be walking out without a contract.

Re: Introduction: Geoff
Roger, Ranger CharlieRanger1FFV. Thank you for the welcome. I originally didn't realize there was an Option 40 and was deadset on going as an 11x and working my tail off and getting a spot in RASP, though it would be much more anxiety playing the waiting game, I would be ok with that. If I can go in...

SITREP for Dntwishforitwrkforit
Rangers, Thank you again for allowing me to be a guest here. Currently I am in the enlistment process and working on finding a MEPS date. My recruiter has yet to see any 11x Option 40 contracts, so I am going to wait it out for now. I've been waiting for about a month on it with no luck so far. Curr...
