Unfortunately no one can survive the media onslaught. All who oppose the emperor will be made to look like a fool. Look at all the hype the media made just because Rubio drank some water while on TV. Everyone says and does foolish things. It is human nature. Imagine if the media decided to destroy you, and recorded everything you said or did. You would have no chance.

The left says and does stupid things too, but the media gives them a pass since it fill their agenda. A good example of that is Joe Biden. We hear about the dumbass things he says, but we only hear of it through facebook or blog sites. The media does not hammer it over and over until all US citizens thinks he is a dumbass.

The progressives cannot win by using ideology. They can only win by total destruction of all opposition. This is how Obama won reelection. Romney was probably the most decent guy to ever run for president. However due to the progressive machine he was made to look like a monster. No one can survive this.

This is why, no matter what comes out in the news, all of you must take it all with a grain of salt and try to look deeper into anyone who steps forward to oppose the regime. Do not look at what the media says they are... but look at what they have done.

As for Sarah Palin, I look at what she did as governor to base my opinion on her, not what she said or supposedly was "going" to do. This is how all of us need to view conservatives in the future.
