hello, this is my first post on these forums but anyway i have a question reguarding colorblindness. Forgive me if this question has been answered before but i couldnt find any info about this i looked on the army official website, stickies on this forum, and i even did search but only skimmed threw them because their were so many.
Do they give color blind waivers for OPTION 40 contracts for being very slighty color blind? I can pass the lantern test 100% but i have trouble with some of the circles with the numbers in them. Will this effect me at all from getting contract?
I was orignally planning on getting navy SEAL challenge contract but i cant because of this. So iam looking for something that is the closest thing to them. If i cant get army ranger contract what would you guys suggest thats very similiar? The recruiter that i saw wasnt very helpfull and their isnt any other ones i can goto that isnt under 150 miles away.
Any feedback would be wonderfull. Thanks for reading!

gosh, that was hard huh?
now once you get that figured out, I'll tell about you what the USCG special guys are up to these days since you want to be a SEAL, and you deserve an answer from us. that's why you're here, and we owe it to you right?

You should do it the easy way and tell him to use the fucking search button since there was so many hit's on color blindness, and he was to lazy to read far enough to find the answer.hit_it wrote:KW Driver wrote:http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=16

Besides, Rangers are only second to SEALS.
About the only other route is to be a LEG.

You just don't get it. A Ranger goes the extra mile and finds things out for himself. I seacrhed "colorblind" on this site and found the answer in two minutes.ensuredew wrote:A simple yes or no answer would have been probally been the easy thing to do instead of trying to be assholes...but anyway thanks for answers i will leave these forums now and never return.
You looked for an easy way. It doesn't exist anywhere in life. Sorry about your sight problem I'm not sorry about your attitude. But you cn change it.
