I love your avatar. It reminds me when our section made a chute out of an old flare parachute and made a harness for our mascot Iguana. On fun jumps one of us would put it in a pocket, and then let him drop once under canopy.
Did this a few times until a gust of wind caught him and sent way off course. When we found the chute the harness was broken and he was gone. Wonder how long he lived on his own, way out of his element?
We decided to get a rat next, after our platoon. Big, ugly black Rat. Didn't jump him though!
