Greetings fellow Rangers! I can't tell you how good it feels to read the posts of like minded individuals. I spent 2 1/2 years in B co 1/75 from early 84 to late 86, passing life's first real test in class 5-85 (Ice cold echo, but aren't they all ice cold at some point?).
It has been almost 20 years since I've heard a HOOAH from someone who meant it, and although I have followed closely the news reports of my brothers in harms way (and knowing the news is rife with BS), it is good to see that not much has changed.
There is little in life that is better than a blueberry pancake.
You can live for weeks on Gorilla Cookies, crackers and cheese.
And with the right attitude, nothing is impossible.
There is only one criticsm of rangers that I can think of, and that is that my standards were set to such a high level, based on the caliber of men I served with, that I have yet to meet an individual who comes close, other than the very few rangers I have met back here in the world.
It seems the idea of living for a creed larger than yourself is a foriegn concept to most, and almost no one can understand the concept of "Never leave a fallen comrade..."
For whomever created and maintains this site...Thank you. It feels like home.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
