Just Graduated OSUT

Post by Blacksrt4 »

Well I graduated OSUT today (15dec). I must say it feels good to be able to say I am an infantryman. I go back to benning in about 2 weeks. I have heard it through the grapevine (whatever its worth) that RIP hold is almost 3 months long these days, about half of the Ranger contract guys in my platoon said if its that long they are quitting because they have no disipline and cant wait to be a Ranger. But anywho if any DEPs want to ask me a GOOD question and not some bullshit about "will the DS hit me" or anything gay like that feel free to.

Good Job!

Don't let holdover get it's claws in you....it's a pretty scary beast.

Just keep yer head up and stay focused.

Oh yeah........and keep your feet and knees together. 8)

Congrats, Soldier! Phase 1 has been accomplished. Now for Phase 2. Go at it with the same determination and vigor as the last phase. You'll enjoy Jump School. The Black Hats are annoying, but the training is fun. Use some common sense with your free time. It's easy to loose control with alcohol and screw up a good thing (like your Ranger plans). You're doing a great job.....keep on trucking! Enjoy the Holidays.
