Rangers,

A quick sitrep regarding the first phase of RASP. Myself, giant, smsst14, and woody have all completed the first phase and are still going strong. We are currently on block leave and will continue on to phase 2 once we return. Cole Range was definitely the toughest part of training so far, but nothing a man with a pair can't handle. I think I can speak for all of the mentees here at RASP and confidently say that we are all doing our best to earn the scroll and beret everyday. I look forward to more positive sitreps in the near future.

Well done men. But it's not over by a long shot, I'm sure you all know that.

Enjoy your families over the Christmas break, but you absolutely must keep up with your PT and stay out of trouble.

It's easy to go out with the 'old boys' from the block, feel a little bit of oats after some brew because of your training so far, and get into a fight with someone. But that will cost you dearly and you'll be dragging your D Bag down to World Wide as soon as you return to RASP. One asshole is not worth losing everything. Walk away.

I guarantee on your first morning back there will be a PT test and possibly a piss test for all, you will lose people that day for one or the other.

Remember the Ranger Creed, and enjoy yourself. Merry Christmas to you all.

Great job men, Ranger Cams' advice is as solid as it comes. Enjoy your families, eat good food and stay in good shape. You can bet money on it, that the first thing you do when you get back is pee in a bottle. It's not worth it, stay strong and drive on to the Ranger Objective (Scroll and Tan Beret). RLTW

Rangers,

I'm honored to say that theLoop88, Giant, woody, smsst14, docdino, and myself will all be graduating RASP class 02-15 tomorrow. I have been assigned to 1/75 in good ole Savannah. I know the true test will begin once I arrive to battalion, but I am ready to get started. I thank all the Rangers here for the encouragement and mentorship over the last year, it proved to be very helpful.

Thank you for your SITREP. Please point out to all the mentees that they owe a note on how they were helped by coming to this site. You too! Tomorrow is the last easy day! Never, never quit!

Great job men, what got you through the last 8 weeks is what will get you through the rest of your life. Remember the lessons learned not in a classroom, but when the stuff got hard. That moment you knew you were at your end and yet some how found the strength to take one more step, and then another. Never quit is not just a phrase but it becomes a way of life. Great job. RLTW

Roger Ranger Jim and Ranger rangerjd. I'd say stressing the fact that we need to learn the Ranger Creed and live it before hand helped a lot. When I was sucking on a forced march I'd recite the Creed in my head. Not only did it distract the suck, it was motivation to push through to the finish.
