Future Soldier with Option 40

Education: Currently a senior at Cy-Fair Senior High School
ASVAB Score: 85
Purpose: I have been in the Future Soldier Program since 22 May 2013. I just got Option 40 added to my Infantry contract on 20 March 2014. I am shipping to Fort Benning, GA on 30 June 2014 for OSUT followed by Airborne School and then RASP. I want to be prepared for RASP so that I can pass it with flying colors. My goal is to eventually make it into Special Forces but I want to start out in Airborne Rangers.

You need to improve your run times. Also, please add pull-ups to your workout. Start to memorize the Ranger Creed and start living by it. Time is not on your side. Never, never quit!

I apologize for not having been on in a while. I have been busy with work and AFJROTC. I was wondering if I could have a diet recommended to me. I am 17, about to be 18, six feet tall, and weigh 175 lbs. Most of my weight is muscle but I do not know the percentage. I believe that my minimum weight is 165 lbs and my maximum is 195 lbs. I know it is bad to get too close to your maximum and likewise for your minimum but I would like to build more muscle prior to leaving. Unfortunately I do not have access to a gym so I cannot perform any weight lifting. Any suggestions on a diet routine would be greatly appreciated.

Sit-ups - 80 in 1minute
1 mile - 7 minutes

My sit-ups have remained the same. My push-ups have increased to 55 in 2 minutes. Unfortunately my 2 mile has slowed to 16:05 (I am not sure why) yet my mile time is still at 7:00. My pull-ups are currently at a lousy 2 in 2 minutes.

The Rangers are not a stepping stone for SF.
