Introduction- Ryan

Post by Irvin14 »

Howdy Rangers,

Prior to my introduction, I want to thank every Ranger who has previously served as well as those currently serving for their selfless service to this great nation.

My name is Ryan, I’m a 22 year old from northeast Texas. I am currently a senior at Texas A&M University set to graduate in May. After extensive research on a variety of post graduate opportunities and careful deliberation with family and friends I have decided to pursue my dream of being a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment. I have recently enlisted in the Army as an 11X with an Option 40, and my ship date is 20140527. PT test results will be posted within 72 hours of this post.

Update:
Self-Assessed PT Results:
Push-ups: 61
Sit-ups: 70
2-mile run: 14:28
Pull-ups: 8

I'm continually addressing the issue of my more than lackluster PT scores. And will keep updating my progress as my ship date quickly approaches.

You are 12 days late from the 72 hours you stated in your initial intro post.
You failed to live up to your own words. Do you expect we (should) take your word in the future?

Ryan, Ranger Steadfast posed a good question. I doubt that you followed my guidance, because some of your other posts indicate you have not read some of the most basic issues. Let me point out that you are not on Face Book. We take preparing young men for service in the 75th Ranger Regiment very seriously. Never, never quit!

Roger, Ranger Steadfast and Ranger Jim.
I am ashamed that I did fail to live up to my own word in posting my results in a timely manner and will not let it happen again. I need to refocus on my goals as I had temporarily moved them down on my priority list the last week and a half due to Spring Break vacation. Due to this failure I will push out 50+1 right now as well as complete the ‘Hero WOD’ Ranger SLEDGE HAMMER assigned to labod on March 7th, 2014.

For time and to be completed and results posted by Friday:
21 deadlifts
1 mile run
15 deadlifts
800m run
9 deadlifts
400m run
11X OPT 40
