Roger Ranger Steadfast. Week one is done. Quick tips: as soon as you get your Ranger history book study it! You will be tested right away. Also study the blue book Ranger standards. Shave everyday, and never fall asleep or zone out during classes. If you are going to buy or have someone bring you a POV. Do it before you get here. Most importantly hydrate, the guy with the highest PT score here went down during our 6 mile ruck (which was insanely fast) from dehydration. We've lost 15 guys so far, quitters, injuries, heat cats. Cole Range is my next hurdle.

Ranger Jim and Ranger Steadfast, I am still going strong. Week 4 is over. It was mobility training. Classes on preventative maintenance and driving humvee's. Coming from a mechanical background it was right up my alley, and very easy. We had a PT test, 5 mile run, and 10 mile ruck march. I am happy to say my times in all events are improving, and of course are within standards. We received are M-9 familiarization class today, which was very good. I am glad To be half way done with RASP and nearing the end of my 7th months of non-stop training. It can be tiring at times, but also rewarding as I get stronger in events, and learn invaluable military info. I don't have much new advice for week 4 except for ruck/run as fast as you can, and take care of your feet. I think we are down to 98 guys now out of 129. I can't wait to start shooting and demo weeks!

Good SitRep. You're almost there. Always remember, it is the small things you overlook that will bite you in the ass, not necessarily the hard stuff. Don't fuck this up on your victory lap.
