Introduction
First want to thank you guys for your service and giving out helpful information to people so they can make the right decision. My name is garrett (name deleted by Admin - PERSEC Violation) i grew up on a farm in vermont. My dad served in the army in the 90's. I knew before i started highschool i was goin g to join the army so i took JROTC for 4 years so as you guys know id go in as an E-3. I have been accepted to Norwich university for the ROTC program but its 50,000$ a year and i dont want to come out of college in a huge amount of debt. So i decided im going to enlist. Im seeking an option 40 right now but i need some info from somebody who can guide me the right way throught this process. Any helpful information you have would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

"Stickies" are important topic threads ( a thread is what you started here) and or frequently asked questions that are "stuck" to the top of the fourm.Garrettm2240 wrote:10/4. What do u mean by stickies?

Re: Introduction
Garrettm2240, I am not a Ranger yet but the Rangers here all take out of their time to reply and mentor people aspiring to be Rangers here. In return all they ask is you read the FAQs and follow a few simple rules.Garrettm2240 wrote:Alright thanks. My bad
If you had done this you would have replied "Alright thanks (If I was a Ranger then "Ranger Lomack27" would have followed) . -Garrettm2240" They don't want a apology, They want you to get it right next time.
Here is a link to the FAQs, Read them before posting again.

Re: Introduction
Lomack 27, ive been searching through the site on where or how to apply for a mentor. Any information you have will be much appreciated. -garrettm2240
Re: Introduction
We have an extensive program for mentoring those who are already in the delayed entry program (DEP) and have a reserved slot for RASP (Option 40). Frankly, you are still a fair way from there as you are not yet in the DEP. There is extensive information on recruiting and how to obtain an Option 40 on the site. You are responsible on learning a great deal of data, which you will need later. Never, never quit!Garrettm2240 wrote:Lomack 27, ive been searching through the site on where or how to apply for a mentor. Any information you have will be much appreciated. -garrettm2240
