SITREP

Post by kensongakusei »

Sixteen Days until I ship.

I just want to say Thank You to all of the Rangers who have taken their time to offer advice and tips to help me achieve my goal of becoming a Ranger. "Fortune favors the prepared" and I feel like what I have learned from this site has definitely prepared me well for my upcoming journey. For that I am grateful.

Thank You to all of the previous Mentees who have gone before and offered SITREPs about your journey. They have been insightful and helped answer a lot of questions I had.

I'll do my best to provide SITREPs as often as possible, once I start.

For those interested I've documented my physical preparation since the New Year at my blog: tomctraining.blogspot.com. I'll continue to update the blog as well, while I move along in my military career.

Rangers, Thank You again for making this site such a valuable resource for us new guys who aspire to someday be where you are, or already have been.

Until next time...

Two days until I ship.

Tomorrow I head to the hotel and Tuesday I'll make my 5th (and hopefully final) trip to MEPS.

This will be my last post for a while. As often as I can I'll provide SITREPs about the journey.

Thank You once again to all the Rangers on this site. I do feel well prepared going into OSUT.

Until next time...

Good luck stud, and remember, quitting is for other people. You cannot afford that luxury.
