Post by ryman22 »

Hello, my name is Ryan. I am 18 and in college. I am a future soldier with an 11X opt 40 contract. It's been four months since I signed my contract, but I still have until January 2nd to leave for Ft. Benning. I am excited to become part of the discussion and hope to learn a lot.

Thanks Ranger Jim. I have come across this site many times in the past few months while searching the web for information. It probably has the most extensive wealth of knowlege of any site I've seen, consequently I decided to join. I have been living in south Florida for the past four years, but I'm originally from Georgia so I'm happy to go back there for the bulk of my training. I want to become a Ranger not for the title, but for the job. There is no other job like it, civilian or military. Also my father obtained his tab while in the 101st but I would like to take it one step further and join th 75th.

I've also noticed that most DEPs are posting their PT scores in their introductions, so I will too.

OK, you have a baseline for your PT. What school do you attend?
