Attention to detail. But the good news is you got the training you desire. Time is relatively short, start running. Never, never quit!

You were strung along on some things (higher you score = less jobs? wtf?), other things were true (like the FY thing, it in fact does end on Sept. 15th for USAREC). You have what you need now though, focus on getting your PT up, staying out of trouble, and getting promoted to PFC before you leave. Easiest promotion in the Army.

NYCKIDD wrote:Finally got done with meps today. by far one of the longest days most boring day in my life, but i can say that it was worth it. after all the bs ive been through i finally have an 11x opt 40 to show for it. This has to be one of the best days in my life but i know the journey is not finished by a long shot. I have a long challenging road a head of me and i know the army expects me to fail, but im going to grab the bull by the horns and give it 100 percent every single day. Failing is not an option for me.
Finally, one of you little fire pissers actually listened and held fast for the opt. 40.

You got 2 months kid. You may need to hammer on PT in basic. Don't overdo it now. Work up to it, the last thing you need is an overuse injury.
