US ARMY RANGER IN JUMP SCHOOL?

Post by joeanthony93 »

hi my name is joe and im shipping out to Fort Sill in April 2012 as a 13f with an option 4. Now i have herd that there's a Ranger recruiter at almost every airborne class trying to get people to try out for the regiment. my question is i have a 102 gt score and i know you need a 107. would i be able to get a waiver for that? And if i have a 102 gt score do you think the recruiter would even bother talking to me?

worst he can say is "no"

Thanks guys!! I hope he does consider me. I am going to try to run a 300 pft score and do my best in AIT. It sucks because i studied so much for the Rangers asvab score and i was more worried about the getting a 50 on the afqt then a 107 on the gt score. i figured if i get a 50 plus on the afqt score i would be above a 107 on the gt score. but i got a 60 on the afqt and 102 gt score lolol..Any advice for Basic an Ait to be above the rest?

Young man, One of the things you may have noticed (or should notice) is that on this site we communicate using the English language. One of the best ways to find yourself in trouble in OSUT or Basic Training is to not conduct yourself in the right manner. One mark of a successful Ranger is his attention to detail. As you are a guest in our home, I would caution you to not abuse our hospitality. Prior to your next posting, please read all the FAQs, as well as select stickies and threads. Never, never quit!

Don't apologize. "Roger, Ranger Jim," was the answer I was looking for. Now, I think I told you to read the FAQs, etc. prior to posting again. Attention to detail.
