Reporting for duty (again)
I've been registered for a few months now & reported in once before but according to the CO I've gotta do it again.
I'm retired Army after having served in Navy SpecOps for 6 years & the Army for 21 & came out as a 1SG.
My son is presently in 3-75 Rangers after passing through Infantry OSUT, Airborne school & RIP. I took my Aiborne training while in the Navy & am pretty sure I slept in the same barracks my son was in.
I was able to turn him blue & see him graduate in the middle of May. Nice trip down to Benning.
I live in Milwaukee & work as a Security Officer (armed) a few days a week & am enjoying the crap out of retirement. I'm so deep into it that I think the Tangos would have to be in South Milwaukee before I'm called up again!
I held Infantry, Commo & Public Affairs MOS's( I hold a degree in photography & upon entry into the Army that's a real good way to see what it's all about). When I retired I was a 1SG of a Commo Instructor Company. We did a lot of TDY teaching things like CEOI, ComSec, & lots of field expedient commo techniques to snake eaters.
Top out.

"He only loved people, he thought, who had fought or been mutilated. Other people were fine and you liked them and were good friends; but you only felt true tenderness and love for those who had been there and had received the castigation that everyone receives who goes there long enough." Ernest Hemingway
