introduction 11B dad
Hello Rangers. I am the proud father of a current 11B soldier serving in Iraq. I am a special agent with the Dept. of Homeland Security and have been in federal law enforcement for about 18 years. I served in the Air Force and Army National Guard and the Army Reserve a long time ago. I am on the site to try to get some information about how my 11B son can go Ranger, if possible, for his re-enlistment.

One post is adequate. Recommend your son come here on his own. If he truly wants to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, this is the site he wants.11B re-enlistment

I am the proud father of an active duty 11B serving in Iraq and his re-enlistment window is coming up. He didn't listen to the old man and kind of got screwed on his enlistment. I'd like to get some options for him on re-enlistemnt. First off, his ASVAB score is not high enough.
Can he take it again to try and do better?
If he cna't score high enough is Ranger School still a contractual option?
What about Airborne School?
How about annignment to an Airborne unit?
What are the options now for a hard charging 11B for re-enlistment?
Any place else I can check?
