Anyone know the durability/Quality vs. cost of the GSG 9 boot both black and dessert? The next time I come out to play on another contract I am going to bring these two boots with me.

Buy Oakleys instead. The GSG9's don't last as long.

Our current theaters contain a "MOUT" enviroment that is harder on the boots than humping through the woods. The only person I ever saw that wore these boots was an Italian SF instructor I had during survival training. He was a "Cool guy" and he made the boots look cool. I on the other hand am a knuckle dragging simian that would be happy strapping bricks to my feet.

Just my two cents worth, but I have seen better performance and durability from the Oakley Boot. My ERT team has no SOP on footwear, operator pref., and both the Adidas and Oakley Boot have been used, with the Oakley being more durable with little or no break in time needed. Mostly work in the city with little woodland ops, so I have very little experience with the boots in those conditions.
Hard Pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I am attacking.

GSG 9 Boots

My EST (swat) team leader has them, he said they are stealthy and have great grip. I dont know how they perform in the field, but for training in houses and buildings they have held up good for him.
