Introduction-Anthony

Hi Rangers,
My name is Anthony, and I am currently a junior in High School. As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be in the Military , and it all just fascinated me. However, until recently I haven't been taking anything seriously. So far, I haven't done any sports in high school, and I haven't been keeping my Physical Fitness level up to par. Im not fat, but I am not fit. I am just that normal guy in school who gets good grades. I want to change all that. I want to change my quitter attitude to a no quit attitude , I want to get fit, and I want to serve to the best of my abilities. Its going to be a hard run , getting from where I am at now, to where I want to be , serving in the Special Operations community.
I plan on enlisting after I graduate , So I have a year to prepare. I plan on enlisting into Army Infantry , and depending on how hard I train , I might or might not , enlist with option 40.
So I am hear to lurk and soak in as much information as I can , and maybe ask the occasional question , So I can better myself for my goals.
I hope that one day that I can attain the strength and motivation to serve in the 75th.

Welcome and thanks for you interest in Army Rangers. Check out the Physical Fitness forum on this site for information on getting in shape. You have a year until graduation and that is plenty of time to get in shape. Be sure to read and heed the ROE PM I have sent you.

Thanks for the welcome. I have taken time to read the ROE Ranger Bill, and I'll make sure I refer to them before I post, so I don't step out of line. I hope to really take in as much information to motivate me to stick to my goals.
