Hello Rangers
I have been lifting weights for about a month and the weight I have been lifting has increased accordingly, but about a week ago I started feeling something strange around the back of my elbow when I am doing any type of tricep work out I feel like the ligaments are coming out of place and I have to stop because my strength goes away but the weight I am lifting isn’t even heavy and I have to use drastically lower weight just to exercise my triceps. I have tried many different methods to exercise my triceps in but I feel the same thing. Have any of you ever encountered this problem and could you direct me to the right kind of physician to visit, I don’t have medical insurance and allot of money so I don’t really want to be running around to see who can actually help me fix this.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Tricep Pain,,Help appreciated?
I'm not a doc but I had the same pain in the same area on my first deployment. I just backed off a little and let it rest for a few weeks...light weight tricep workouts and it recovered (I attributed it to overworking the area). I'd see a doc though if it persists or worsens.

Re: Tricep Pain,,Help appreciated?
Just in case anyone else incounters this problem or anything similar to it, ask to see an orthopedic specialist ,he fixed my problem in 5 minutes by slimply moving my tricep muscle fascia, he also did that with my back rhomboid muscle, i know it may not be the safest but if youd like and dont want to spend the money, pm me and ill tell you how he did it to me, i have done it several times to my self, but you never know your discomfort may be a diffrent problem.

Re: Tricep Pain,,Help appreciated?
You probably got into this situation becasue of the "progress" you were making in terms of increasing the weight. What happens is that your muslces increase in strength much faster than other soft tissues like ligaments and tendons. I don't know what rep range you work in. but I would go to a high range like 12 to 15 for a few weeks.
