My weekly workout

Post by Chomy »

Hello Rangers,
I would appreciate if you took a look at my weekly workout and could give me some advice. I live in Northern Kentucky in a pretty hilly area so just keep it in mind during my runs I post.

Monday- I do about a 2.5 mile run. Work on abs with flutter kicks, sit ups, crunches ( I workon abs everyday). And ill max out my pushups, wait a few mintue then max out again.

Tuesday- I do a shorter run thats about a mile maybe a mile and a half long that I use for more speed because it is more up hill then the longer run. I then work on abs, and I do sets of pull ups.

Wed- A ruck sack walk on the same route as my long run. This is the one I have the most question about wether I should do or not because I've heard from sources that I should and I shouldn't do this. I usually fill my National Guard backpack I got with about 30 or 35lbs and do the walk in my BDU boots. I then do abs/and push ups this day

Thurs- I do my long run, abs, pull ups

Friday- The short run, abs, push ups

I use to lift weights a few months ago but I haven't lately. Do you think it would be better to lift weights more? I weight about 130lbs by the way. I also take a protein drink after every workout and I eat around 2,500-3,000 calories a day. All help would be appreciated.

Ranger .,
If that is just good enough for a warmup, what else can I do to improve it into a better workout?

Ranger ZoneIV
It does but its at the middle school which is a couple of miles away, instead it just has like minature track around the gym. Its 24 laps for 2 miles

PT scores:
PU-65
SU-73
2 Mile-14:24 (People were on the track so I had to keep stopping to get around on corners and stuff, my score will be faster next time)
